What if you could unlock the superpowers of artificial intelligence to elevate your marketing strategies and achieve extraordinary results?


We have always seen superheroes able to do amazing things and we are all enamored by the idea of having abilities that go beyond our physical and mental capacities. This is how I view AI and their ability to transform ordinary people to achieve extraordinary heights. You do not have an excuse anymore for not completing a task today because there is an AI who can help you achieve it. 


I am a seasoned Digital Marketer with 24 years of experience where I was good at building digital media strategies and plans based on brand objectives and account management. I grew up the ranks looking at Creative Directors making presentations on brand identity and Strategy heads building insight based presentations to clients. I always wondered if I would be able to make such presentations and work on such projects. 


When I first saw Chat GPT 3.5 I knew AI will transform every industry. Today I am able to make a creative presentation on brand identity and generate precise marketing and content strategy and build audience persona and much more all with the help of artificial intelligence. Marketers have the ability today to build custom agents that can help build any kind of workflow that helps their business. 


In a short span of time all marketers and agencies today use some form of ai in their business. Whether it be data analysis or storyboarding a script or even creating a script. AI is helping break borders between departments. You do not need to go to multiple departments to get the work done. AI can build you a blog, copy for a LinkedIn post, give you ideas, analyze data sets and generate strategies at lightning speed. 


Does all this negate the human element? Of course not. AI can never be as creative as a human but it can help and empower humans to do better with less effort. AI will help everyone to be a creator in the future. You can make text to image to video to voice and sound today with AI. In the next 5 years we will not be able to distinguish ai content with content created entirely  by humans. 


How will AI be better for brands and agencies? The one key ingredient for a successful AI output is data. We call it big data or deep learning. If you are able to plug in a LLM to the data set and train it through a RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) model, you will be able to see the difference in the quality of output. In the next few years you will see tools that will lay out the task and execute it with a high level of accuracy. 


AI will democratize marketing where the power of communication will be more widely accessible and building content and analyzing data will be done with ease. We will see customized tools that will be created as per brand and agencies need. This should give us time to think and build better solutions and strategies while the heavy lifting is done by AI. However the basics of marketing remain and if you have a poor product or service, there is nothing AI can do till the problem is rectified. 



Where can AI be most effective? Imagine you have to ask your copy writer to send a 100 notification or WhatsApp message. These are some of the examples that can be automated which will allow a copy writer to work on more creative and important projects and as long as there is a quick oversight a lot of tools can help automate marketing and servicing tasks at scale. If you have 100 stores and are not able to manage the 100 of reviews that come in every day. There is an AI tool that will help you achieve that. 


Will this affect jobs and the way companies work? Ai will not take jobs but people and companies who do not learn how to adapt to AI tools and systems will find it difficult to secure jobs in the future. The way of working will evolve like it has with the invention of the computer, then the internet and mobile device. 


I for one is optimistic about AI and what we can achieve. Not only in the field of Marketing, in Education, Science, Robotics and Energy. We are already seeing AI powered applications helping doctors during scans. Robots created by students, powered by Chat GPT at a cost of 25 USD. 


The integration of AI into marketing and beyond promises not just efficiency but an expansion of what’s possible. Through strategic adaptation and a willingness to embrace innovation, marketers can harness AI as a profound ally, unlocking the superpowers needed to succeed in an increasingly complex world.
